Deletable Data: Personal data except Name, Email, and Date of Birth may be deleted upon user request.
Non-Deletable Data: Exam results, course participation, assignments, grading, and surveys are retained permanently to ensure academic and institutional integrity.
Data retention requests shall be processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
LiveEd may share personal data with:
- Service Providers: Payment gateways, cloud hosting, email delivery, video conferencing (Zoom, Google, YouTube, etc.), and communication services.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorities: When required by applicable laws or lawful orders.
- Corporate Successors: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring, provided equivalent privacy protection is maintained.
LiveEd does not sell or rent personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
10. Security of Personal Data
LiveEd adopts reasonable security practices including encryption, access control, and secure data transmission protocols to protect personal information.
Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is fully secure. By using the Website, Users acknowledge and accept this inherent risk.
11. Rights of Data Principals under the DPDP Act, 2023

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising under or in connection with this Policy shall first be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
If arbitration fails, such disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India.
